Students should select one of the following two Master’s degree tracks:
Master of Engineering in Aerospace Engineering (without a thesis)
This program is intended for Aerospace Engineering graduates who are interested in broadening their horizons through further advanced study. Specialization in one of the Faculty’s fields is recommended.
Master of Engineering (without a thesis)
These tracks are suitable for working engineers who are interested in expanding and updating their professional expertise, without the need to write a comprehensive thesis.
Conditions for Admission
Applicants must satisfy Technion admittance conditions. However, in addition, the Faculty Advanced Studies Committee reserves the right to take the candidate’s ranking into account, and to summon him/her for a personal interview.

Students in a no-thesis program must fulfill the following requirements: 40 credits (including a final 6-credit project), including two of the following three compulsory courses, viz. Applied Mathematics in Aeronautical Engineering 1 and 2 and Numerical Methods in Aeronautical Engineering. In addition, students must attend the Faculty’s seminars.
Students who wish to transfer to a Master’s program with a thesis must, before submitting their request:
- Accumulate a minimum of 12 credits with an average grade of at least 85.
- Find an advisor and together submit the research proposal.
take all three of the aforementioned compulsory courses and achieve a grade of at least 85 in each of them, before submitting his/her request.
Students who are not graduates of the Faculty of Aerospace Engineering will be required to take prerequisite courses in accordance with the recommendations of the Advanced Degrees Committee.
