SUMMARY:Start-Up Stories\, Lecture #2: "A Methodological Process to Optimiz
e Capturing Updrafts in Non-Motorized Air Vehicles" - Falco Technologies
DESCRIPTION:Lecturer:Teddy Gilaad\n Faculty:\n Institute:Falco Technologies
 \n Location:Classroom 165\, ground floor\, Library\, Aerospace Eng.\n Zoom
 : \n Abstract: \n Details: \n In the traditional non-motorized aerial vehi
cles (Paragliders\, sailplanes and hang gliders) world\, pilots use a “V
ariometer” tool to identify that they are in an updraft (such as hot air
thermal)\, to start maneuvers to stay within the just found updraft\, in
order to gain maximum height possible. It is a highly intellectual and int
uitive process that requires long study\, long experience and stubbornness
\, in order to stay aloft. This talk will describe a process which is a pa
tent pending invention\, to make it into a more methodological and simple
process for the pilot to follow.\n\nSince it became a methodological and
simple process\, it enables converting the methodology into a computer pr
ogram and build upon it the “Autonomous Glider” that may stay aloft fo
 r a day or more\, a really huge\, great and new marketplace.\n\n\n\n&nbsp\
