About the |Aeroelasticity Lab
The aeroelasticity lab is dedicated to computational and experimental research in, well… aeroelasticity. We love all aspects of this complex multidisciplinary field. In the past few years, our studies have focused on modeling and understanding nonlinear aeroelastic phenomena that are either due to the aerodynamics (specifically at the transonic flight regime, which is dominated by large shock waves and separated flows) or due to the structural large deformations, typical of very flexible configurations.
