Shavit Attar | This study demonstrates closed-loop control of the shock train leading-edge location in a dual-mode scramjet combustor using fuel-injection distribution as the control input. Experiments were performed in a direct-connect, cavity-stabilized combustor with distributed ethylene injection.
Saar Levi | Hypergolic propellants are defined by their ability to ignite immediately upon contact, resulting in rapid exothermic reactions occurring without the need for an external ignition source. In hybrid rocket engines, this spontaneous reaction simplifies thruster management, reduces system mass, and enables engine re-ignition.
Ajay Dhankarghar | A PhD scholar in the faculty of aerospace under Assist. Prof. Yuval Dagan. I work on particle-laden turbulent flows. He got his master's degree from Indian Institute of Technology Madras, India where I worked on Strut cavity and wall-cavity in supersonic flows.
Vladimir Martinusi is a Senior Visiting Lecturer within the Stephen B. Klein Faculty of Aerospace Engineering since 2020. His research interests span the fields of Applied Mathematics and Astrodynamics.
The talk will cover receptivity, interaction with TS waves and by pass transition. Most of the seminar will focus on the subsonic regime, but applications to supersonic regime will also be covered.
