Fluid Mechanics Laboratory

Fluid Mechanics Laboratory

Fluid Mechanics Laboratory (FMLab) started its research activity in Oct 2022 and is headed by Asst. Prof. Igal Gluzman. The lab activity is focused on fluid mechanics research that combines interdisciplinary approaches from dynamical systems, signal processing, computer vision tools, and estimation theory. Current projects are focused on: cavitation and bubble dynamics, transitional and turbulent boundary layers, flow separation, non-isothermal multi-phase turbulence, flow control (low-order system modeling, actuator development, and flow estimation from minimal sensing), development visualization and diagnostic techniques of flow fields.

Open Positions:

Multiple research topics (including undergraduate projects) are available for motivated undergrad, M.Sc., and Ph.D. students. For more information, please contact Asst. Prof. Igal Gluzman igal.gluzman@technion.ac.il
