New Memorandum of Understanding signed with Purdue University

Initiated in Technion by the Aerospace Department, an agreement is signed, signaling the start of a formal collaboration between Technion and Purdue University.

In an effort led by the Aerospace Department in Technion, a memorandum of understanding has been signed on June 2020 between Purdue University, West Lafayette, Indiana, U.S.A. and Technion – Israel Institute of Technology, Haifa, Israel.

Motivated by the joint missions of the two institutions geared towards promoting the enrichment of their educational, research, and engagement missions, the agreement provides a mechanism to strengthen and to expand the mutual contacts between the two institutions; and to provide for a variety of collaborative opportunities. Along these lines, the agreement constitutes a framework towards:

  1. Exchange of faculty and research scholars
  2. Exchange of students
  3. Collaborative Research and Discovery, Learning and Teaching, and Engagement
  4. Technical Assistance
  5. Other educational or research programs

Through this agreement, the inclusion of Purdue University to the formal cooperation network of Technion is another important step towards creating and nourishing our collaborations with leading universities around the world.
