InterPore, the International Society for Porous Media, is a non-profit independent scientific organization established in 2008. It aims to advance and disseminate knowledge for the understanding, description, and modeling of natural and industrial porous media systems. https://www.interpore.org/

Asst. Prof. Alexandros Terzis from the Aerospace Faculty at the Technion co-founded the Israeli Chapter of InterPore. The first scientific meeting took place at Tel Aviv University on July 1st 2021, and attracted more than 60 researchers across the country. The InterPore Israel Chapter focuses on igniting and fostering collaboration among a broad network of researchers of different disciplines coming from academia, research institutes, and industry. The annual workshop will serve as an open forum, where people will have the opportunity to present recent research achievements, as well as research related problems in order to enable multi-disciplinary collaborations in porous media related research across Israel. The next Symposium will take place in July 2022.
