We were happy to host eight talented UK, Brazil, and USA students in our International Summer Research Program. Together with the Technion International School, the summer program offered the students a combination of advanced aerospace research and cool social activities.
During the summer program, the students engaged in state-of-the-art research under the personal guidance of faculty members and enjoyed the vibrant research, learning, and social environment of the Faculty and the Technion.
Four faculty members hosted this year’s summer program students:
- Associate Professor Beni Cukurel at his Turbomachinery and Heat Transfer Laboratory
- Assistant Professor Pavel Galich, at the Wave Mechanics and Metamaterials Laboratory
- Associate Professor Daniel Zelazo, who leads the Cooperative Networks and Controls Lab (ConNeCt) and the Philadelphia Flight Control Laboratory
- Senior Visiting Lecturer Vladimir Martinusi, who was also leading the faculty’s summer program academic activities
The summer program was organized with the Technion International School to provide hands-on experience in planning and performing experimentations at the selected laboratories, marking a transition from undergraduate to graduate-level research work.
