A seminar on “Analysis, Design and Manufacturing of Propellers and Rotors from Composite Materials”, led by the Department of Aeronautical Sciences in the MoD, was held on August 6, 2015 at the Faculty of Aerospace Engineering, Technion.
The purpose of this seminar was to showcase the activities conducted by the different institutions to the general technological community working in the field. Presentations were given with an objective to assess and evaluate possible uses by the community and directions for further activity in this field.
During the seminar, lectures were given by key members of academia and industry on various aspects of rotating wing systems development. Participants from academia, civil and military industries, and several government ministries were represented.
