- Infrastructure Preparation and Assistance
The Faculty of Aerospace Engineering at the Technion is collaborating with industry partners to enhance students’ readiness for integration into the workforce. This initiative focuses on strengthening applied infrastructure and laboratories, identifying existing gaps, and defining processes that include appropriate equipment and guidance. We invite you to participate in this effort and accelerate the establishment of infrastructure, thereby contributing to the development of the next generation of engineers.
- Tools, services and supportive guidance
During their studies, students acquire knowledge and develop skills to maximize their suitability and preparation for integration into the industry. The Faculty invites and encourages collaboration with commercial companies that develop tools and provide services to participate in this process, making it accessible, guiding, and supporting exposure and training.
- Industry exposure lectures
During the Spring semester of 2025, a pilot program for “Industry Exposure Lectures” will be established. The objective of this pilot is to assess the feasibility of creating an elective course composed of guest lectures by industry leaders and entrepreneurs. These lectures aim to provide students with insights into work methodologies, advanced technologies, challenges, areas of expertise, entrepreneurship, tools, strategic vision, and other initiatives that can enhance their readiness and familiarity with the industry prior to their integration. Each lecture will last approximately one and a half hours and will be held once per semester on a fixed day and time, as determined by the academic schedule.
- Events
The Faculty regularly organizes events, which are updated periodically on the faculty’s website.
Conferences / Unique Events
We invite industries to actively participate in several tracks:
- Presentation of innovative, research-based, and applied content: Aimed at increasing mutual exposure and strengthening the foundation for initiating joint activities.
- Poster/booth presentations: In some events, there will be opportunities to present posters or set up booths.
- Sponsorship and hosting: Opportunities for industries to sponsor and host events.
For more information about upcoming events and seminars, please visit the Technion’s official events page
- Wednesday afternoon
Every Wednesday at noon, the Technion suspends classes between 12:30 PM and 2:30 PM to facilitate social activities in the heart of the campus. This provides an excellent opportunity for students to take a break from their studies and participate in various activities, including engaging guest lectures aimed at enriching knowledge, raising social awareness among students and faculty, and offering informal networking opportunities. For more information about these events, please visit the Technion’s official student life page
- Seminars
At the conclusion of Master’s and Doctoral research, a seminar is held to present the research topic and its findings. A list of these seminars, along with abstracts, is available on the faculty’s events board. We invite researchers from across the campus, industry professionals, and the families of researchers, in coordination with the presenting researcher, to join, expand, and deepen their knowledge on topics related to their areas of interest. This is, of course, an opportunity for the industry to assess the originality and depth of the research and the maturity of the development.
