Professor Gil Iosilevskii has been appointed as the new Dean, effective January 1st, 2026. This appointment follows the distinguished tenure of Professor Daniella Raveh, who served the faculty with dedication and commitment as Dean since 2023. The faculty and the Technion administration extend their deepest gratitude to Professor Raveh for her invaluable service.
Like the outgoing Dean, Professor Iosilevskii received all his degrees from the faculty. Later, as a faculty member, he established himself as a leading researcher in theoretical aerodynamics, flight mechanics, and the aero- and hydrodynamics of animal locomotion.
