The Aerospace Engineering Department welcomes Professor Vassilis Theofilis who joins us as a faculty member and the Technion’s Natalie Schaffer Chair.
Professor Theofilis’ research interests lie in the prediction and control of fluid flow instabilities at all speed regimes. In particular, he specializes in the areas of global instability of flows. Professor Theofilis will conduct numerical and experimental work using a new wind tunnel facility that is currently being designed and constructed.
