Distinguished Professor Emeritus Daniel Weihs has a rich resume including some very impressive achievements and professional peaks. Earlier this week, Prof. Weihs was awarded an honorary doctorate from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST).
HKUST President together with the University’s Chairman stated that Prof. Weihs earned this special recognition through his extraordinary contribution to the academic world: “Your academic and research excellence in aerodynamics, biofluid mechanics, hydrodynamics, autonomous robotics, and space research, among others. Has not only brought significant insights to research in science and technology but also made invaluable contributions to the advancement of the world at large”.
