Robotics and AI Open Faculty Positions

The Department of Aerospace Engineering (AE) at the Technion–Israel Institute of Technology invites applications for an open-rank faculty position in all core areas related to robotics and AI.

Specific areas of interest include but are not limited to:

  • Motion planning;
  • Perception;
  • Probabilistic inference;
  • Control;
  • Formal methods;
  • Decision-making under uncertainty;
  • Human-robot interaction;
  • Machine (Deep) learning;
  • Safe AI;
  • Multi-robot systems; and
  • Agile robotics.

Candidates will be expected to conduct independent world-class research, supervise graduate students and postdoctoral researchers, teach undergraduate and graduate-level courses, and obtain research grants. Applicants should have earned a Ph.D. in a related field and a strong publication track-record in top journals and conferences in robotics and AI.
