The Department of Aerospace Engineering (AE) at the Technion–Israel Institute of Technology invites applications for an open-rank faculty position in all core areas related to robotics and AI.
Specific areas of interest include but are not limited to:
- Motion planning;
- Perception;
- Probabilistic inference;
- Control;
- Formal methods;
- Decision-making under uncertainty;
- Human-robot interaction;
- Machine (Deep) learning;
- Safe AI;
- Multi-robot systems; and
- Agile robotics.
Candidates will be expected to conduct independent world-class research, supervise graduate students and postdoctoral researchers, teach undergraduate and graduate-level courses, and obtain research grants. Applicants should have earned a Ph.D. in a related field and a strong publication track-record in top journals and conferences in robotics and AI.
