Ignition and flame dynamics in subsonic and supersonic flows, plasma-assisted combustion (PAC), hydrocarbon fuel and plasma chemical kinetics, alternative fuel characterization.

Measurement Technique Development:
Infrared thermography and spectroscopy, tunable diode laser absorption spectroscopy (TDLAS), laser induced fluorescence (LIF), optical emission spectroscopy (OES).
