Main areas of research

My research interests are in the area of guidance, navigation, and control (GNC) of autonomous aerial and space vehicles.

Specific interests include:

  • Autonomous spacecraft entry, descent, and landing
  • Autonomous spacecraft docking
  • Optimal spacecraft evasion from debris
  • Cooperative and one-on-one missile guidance, evasion, and tracking
  • Optimal control and differential games
  • Adaptive control
