In the past few years, an increase in production of electricity from renewable energy sources has been observed. One of the known efficient ways to generate such energy is by use of wind turbines. The blades of wind turbines consist of a single unit and can be up to 100 meters in length and 60 tons or more in weight. These properties and more make it difficult to transport the turbines from the factories to the installation site. The ATLAS project solves these problems and more.
