Trophy is an Active Protection System for ground vehicles (APS).
First we’ll define what active protection is and what APS is. Then, we’ll present the main system challenges that we had during the development process and the solution that were implemented.
We’ll present and discuss the very challenging timeline of the neutralization scenario, which is the main cause for the selection of the Trophy system concept. In addition, we’ll present 3 more system challenges and their solutions: Safety, Performance Verification and Fielding.
