The Annual SILON Event
We are planning a special annual event for the SILON Program in which faculty members and students will participate.
This is a great opportunity for you to get to know each other, to get updated on the program’s procedures, and to get to know the faculty members and the research they are performing. The prime goal is to assist our SILON students in finding an advisor for their research project. In addition, it is an opportunity for non-SILON students to get familiar with the research in the faculty and to consider graduate studies.
The event will take place on Wednesday, January 7, 2025 (12:30-2:30 PM) in the Faculty Auditorium (Room 235)
Schedule:
12:30 PM
Opening remarks and information for students in the program:
- Dr. Yigael Gluzman – Coordinator of the SILON and Heights Excellence Programs
- Yehudit Greenberg – Graduate Studies Coordinator
1:00 PM-2:00 PM
Exposure to research at the faculty: Lectures by faculty members on selected topics (approximately 12 lectures of approximately 5 minutes each)
2:00 PM-2:30 PM
Pizza 🍕 , beer 🍻 and free discussion
