September 17 2026
The event includes wind tunnel demonstrations, lectures, and lunch. Participation is free of charge, but prior registration is required.
Seminars
October 05 2026
Yishai Glam | The aeroelastic stability and dynamic response of thin panels are important considerations in aerospace structures design. Traditional nonlinear Rayleigh-Ritz (RR) analysis struggles when applied to panels with nonuniform boundary conditions (BCs) or local constraints. Generating the necessary global basis functions is difficult, often leading to slow convergence and requiring many modes.
October 21 2026
Royi Shabtay | The velocity field inside spherical-cap rising bubbles was measured quantitatively by ray-traced, planar laser-induced fluorescence (PLIF) and shadowgraphy and then used to calculate scalar transport properties for bubbles of different Reynolds numbers.

In this study we focus on a zero-sum linear-quadratic differential game. One of the main features of such a game is that the weight matrix of the minimizer’s control cost in the...
Ranging from the aerospace to the health industries, understanding of wave propagation phenomenon in solids is pivotal to a large number of practical applications, e.g., reduction or elimination of undesirable...
Flutter analysis in the production environment is typically based on linear models, where the structure is modeled via a finite-element model, and the aerodynamics via a linear panel code. The...
In recent years, revolutionary technologies of inlet design were developed in response to environmental concerns such as reduction of noise and pollution. Part of these efforts are directed towards reduction...
Founded in 2014, NewRocket is a Technion spin-off developing rocket engines for the space and aviation markets. The company core technology is based on decades of research activities conducted in...
The present work summarizes the design process of a new continuous closed-loop hot transonic linear cascade. The facility features fully modular design which is intended to serve as a test...
