Assoc. Prof. Tal Shima’s lecture will be on the topic:
“Guidance of Aerial Vehicles – הנחיית כלים אויריים”
In this short talk we will present some classical pursuit-evasion engagements between a single interceptor chasing a single target, as well as some new engagements that include more than two participants. We will present and discuss a few guidance strategies applicable in such aerial engagements. Some experimental work performed in our Cooperative Autonomous SYstems (CASY) lab will be presented as well.
Asst. Prof. Stephan Rudykh’s lecture will be on the topic:
“Fantastic Materials and Where to find them – חומרים פנטסטיים ואיפה למצוא אותם”
You have probably heard of, seen, or used 3D printers to make things. Well, that’s what we do in our Lab. We design materials with new functionalities: they can trap waves, change color; they can morph and act as artificial muscles. We learn from nature and combine these design rules with our ability to use and 3D-print synthetic materials. I will show some pictures, no equations – you should come.
