In the traditional non-motorized aerial vehicles (Paragliders, sailplanes and hang gliders) world, pilots use a “Variometer” tool to identify that they are in an updraft (such as hot air thermal), to start maneuvers to stay within the just found updraft, in order to gain maximum height possible. It is a highly intellectual and intuitive process that requires long study, long experience and stubbornness, in order to stay aloft. This talk will describe a process which is a patent pending invention, to make it into a more methodological and simple process for the pilot to follow.
Since it became a methodological and simple process, it enables converting the methodology into a computer program and build upon it the “Autonomous Glider” that may stay aloft for a day or more, a really huge, great and new marketplace.
