Roee M. Francos is currently a Computer Science Postdoctoral Fellow at the Robotics, Embedded Autonomy, and Communication Theory (REACT) Lab at Harvard University focusing on development of multi-agent resilient decision-making and coordination algorithms. In 2023, he completed his PhD in Computer Science at the Multi-Agent Robotic Systems Laboratory, the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology. He received the B.Sc. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Ben-Gurion University. His research interests are in multi-agent teamwork, autonomous robotics, intelligent transportation systems, bio-inspired robotics and computer vision, focusing on collaborative algorithms for motion planning of autonomous vehicles, multi-robot learning, and air traffic management and coordination of unmanned vehicles. Roee is a recipient of the 2023 Robotics Science and Systems (RSS) Pioneers Award and the 2025 IEEE Multi-Robot & Multi-Agent Systems (MRS) Young Pioneer Award.

Fluid-structure interaction in hypersonic flow has seen an increased interest among researchers in response to the worldwide race to sustainable hypersonic flight. The interaction between inertial, elastic, aerodynamic, and thermal...
In the upcoming decade, ground-to-space laser links will become abundant in scientific and industrial applications and Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) will transfer increasingly larger volumes of data. Major companies such...
Aerofoil self-noise produced by flow separation and stall is relatively little understood regarding the underlying generation mechanisms. The focus of this talk is to provide an improved level of understanding...
While SHM science and engineering have matured in recent decades, by now indeed a coherent and well-established branch of structural mechanics, most practicalities are of qualitative nature. The present work...
A guided rocket system performance is often evaluated by solving an optimal control problem which minimizes a pre-defined objective function, e.g. control effort, while satisfying required boundary conditions. However, rocket...
