Roee M. Francos is currently a Computer Science Postdoctoral Fellow at the Robotics, Embedded Autonomy, and Communication Theory (REACT) Lab at Harvard University focusing on development of multi-agent resilient decision-making and coordination algorithms. In 2023, he completed his PhD in Computer Science at the Multi-Agent Robotic Systems Laboratory, the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology. He received the B.Sc. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Ben-Gurion University. His research interests are in multi-agent teamwork, autonomous robotics, intelligent transportation systems, bio-inspired robotics and computer vision, focusing on collaborative algorithms for motion planning of autonomous vehicles, multi-robot learning, and air traffic management and coordination of unmanned vehicles. Roee is a recipient of the 2023 Robotics Science and Systems (RSS) Pioneers Award and the 2025 IEEE Multi-Robot & Multi-Agent Systems (MRS) Young Pioneer Award.

Ignition is a challenge for gas turbines, ramjets and scramjets where flow velocities in the combustor are high, resulting in short flow residence times. The success of ignition depends on...
Destructive vibrations caused by stochastic external disturbances such as earthquakes, explosions, and fluid-structure interactions pose an insidious threat to various critical infrastructure and mechanical components. Among the most vulnerable and...
The supersonic combustion ramjet, or scramjet, is an air-breathing engine designed for cruise at Mach number of 5 and above. The high-speed flow within the combustor poses a major issue...
Investigation of the performance of experimental combustion devices relies heavily on proper diagnostics for characterization of operating regimes and validation of numerical modelling predictions. The primary goal of this work...
A crucial part of the development of a complex system is its testing and validation. To support the design and validation process of a low-cost research missile, a hardware-in-the-loop testbed...
A major current threat on Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) and Air-to-Surface Missiles (ASM) is being intercepted by Surface-to-Air Missiles (SAMs) with maneuvering capabilities. There are many methods to increase the...
