Roee M. Francos is currently a Computer Science Postdoctoral Fellow at the Robotics, Embedded Autonomy, and Communication Theory (REACT) Lab at Harvard University focusing on development of multi-agent resilient decision-making and coordination algorithms. In 2023, he completed his PhD in Computer Science at the Multi-Agent Robotic Systems Laboratory, the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology. He received the B.Sc. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Ben-Gurion University. His research interests are in multi-agent teamwork, autonomous robotics, intelligent transportation systems, bio-inspired robotics and computer vision, focusing on collaborative algorithms for motion planning of autonomous vehicles, multi-robot learning, and air traffic management and coordination of unmanned vehicles. Roee is a recipient of the 2023 Robotics Science and Systems (RSS) Pioneers Award and the 2025 IEEE Multi-Robot & Multi-Agent Systems (MRS) Young Pioneer Award.

A guided rocket system performance is often evaluated by solving an optimal control problem which minimizes a pre-defined objective function, e.g. control effort, while satisfying required boundary conditions. However, rocket...
Flight control law clearance provides the conditions needed for the system to operate in the stability boundaries. One way to do so is to test all the parameters and variables...
Graduation ceremony and year-end partyץ Class of 2019-2020
Simulation of dynamic response of Aero-Servo-Elastic Wind-Tunnel model to Non-Uniform gust was conducted. The research is done under the “Gust Load Alleviation techniques assessment on wind tunnel Model of advanced...
Numerous animals including fish, birds, bats and insects use appendages (fins and wings) with varying levels of flexibility, to provide propulsion and/or weight support as they move through either air...
The simulation of the aerothermal environment surrounding vehicles moving at hypersonic speed is a complex problem due to its multi-physics and multi-scale nature. Progress in the ability to accurately model...
Micro gas turbines generally employ uncooled turbine blades and their thrust is limited by the maximum allowable gas temperature. A miniature cooling scheme embodying effusion cooling may significantly enable higher...
